LiveZilla has not been developed since 2020. SilentChat offers live chat, AI chatbot, tickets and knowledge base — no server of your own, hosted in Germany, with a data processing agreement on every plan. From €19/month.
LiveZilla was a live chat and helpdesk system that companies ran on their own web server — with PHP and MySQL, keeping the data on their own server. According to the vendor's announcement, the software is no longer being developed; LiveZilla GmbH has been in liquidation since 1 June 2020, and new users can no longer obtain or license the software.

No server of your own
LiveZilla ran on your web server — with the advantage that the data stayed with you, and the duty to keep PHP, database and software up to date yourself. SilentChat runs as a service: we operate the application, database and backups, you just embed a script.
Application at Hetzner in Germany, AI at IONOS in Germany — chat data never goes to a US provider. A data processing agreement on every plan, concluded online during setup. Data export and deletion, encrypted backups with a German provider, support in German.

To be fair: what changes when you switch
Your data no longer sits on your own server but with us in Germany — in return you conclude a data processing agreement with us. The plans run as a service; we take care of servers and updates.
There is no automatic import from LiveZilla. Chat histories and knowledge articles don't move over at the push of a button; you set up your knowledge base again or let SilentChat read your website (from Growth).

Every plan includes a fixed number of AI conversations per month: Starter 50, Growth 300, Professional 1,000, Enterprise 3,000. Once reached, your agents take over — no extra charges. A fair-use limit applies to very long conversations (terms § 4 (4)).
