At Tidio, the Lyro AI agent is a separate product — 50 one-off conversations on Starter, beyond that from €39 a month for 50 conversations (€32.50 billed annually). At SilentChat, every paid plan includes a fixed number of AI conversations per month (Starter 50, Growth 300, Professional 1,000). Once reached, your agents take over; no extra charges.

Operated in Germany
Application at Hetzner in Germany, AI at IONOS in Germany — chat data never goes to a US provider. A data processing agreement on every plan, concluded online during setup. Data export and deletion, encrypted backups with a German provider, support in German.
Tidio names Tidio LLC (US) and Tidio Poland Sp. z o.o. as joint controllers; according to Tidio, data is mainly processed in the EEA, with transfers to the US safeguarded by standard contractual clauses and the Data Privacy Framework.

To be fair: when is Tidio the right choice?
Tidio fits if you need many channels in one inbox (Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp), if the free plan with 10 seats is enough for you, or if you want its many integrations, for example with Shopify. Tidio also points to a SOC 2 audit.
SilentChat fits if website chat and email are your main channels, AI should be included in the plan without an add-on, and both the application and the AI should run in Germany.

Every plan includes a fixed number of AI conversations per month: Starter 50, Growth 300, Professional 1,000, Enterprise 3,000. Once reached, your agents take over — no extra charges. A fair-use limit applies to very long conversations (terms § 4 (4)).
No, not at the moment. SilentChat offers website chat and an email inbox. If those channels are central for you, Tidio is better equipped.
