Formula
RICE = (Reach × Impact) / Effort

Make an assessment
Product → Board → Item → "Edit"
- Impact Score (1–10): 1 = minimal, 10 = game-changer
- Effort Score (1–10): 1 = trivial, 10 = months of work
Automatic recalculation
The RICE score is automatically recalculated with every change — when votes change, links are added, or impact/effort is adjusted.
Interpretation
| RICE Score | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 50+ | High priority |
| 20–49 | Put on the roadmap |
| 5–19 | Keep in the backlog |
| < 5 | Low priority |
