Voting system
Last updated: September 9, 2026
Each team member can vote for feature requests. Votes help with prioritization — the most requested features rise to the top.
Voting
- Feedback → Requests → Open Request
- Click on the Vote button (up arrow)
- Your vote is counted and the vote counter is updated
Rules
- One vote per person per request — you cannot vote multiple times for the same request
- Withdraw your vote: Click the Vote button again to remove your vote
- All authenticated users can vote (not just admins)
Sorting by Votes
The "Top" sorting on the request list shows requests with the most votes first. This way, you can see at a glance what is most important to your team.
Voter List
When opening a feature request, the voter IDs are provided. This allows the frontend to display whether the current user has already voted.
Votes and Product Board
When a feature request is added to the Product Board, the vote count is included in the RICE score:
- Reach = Vote count + number of linked conversations/tickets
- More votes → higher RICE score → higher prioritization
See RICE Scoring for details.
Best Practices
- Check regularly: Look at the top requests weekly
- Update status: If a request is planned or rejected, change the status immediately — this shows the team that feedback is taken seriously
- Consolidate: Identify and consolidate similar requests instead of distributing votes across multiple similar requests
