Set up Knowledge Base
Last updated: September 9, 2026
The Knowledge Base (KB) is a collection of help articles that serves two purposes:
- Self-service for visitors: Publicly accessible articles that visitors can find themselves
- Knowledge source for the AI chatbot: The AI bot uses KB articles as context for its answers (RAG)
Getting Started
1. Create Categories
Organize your articles into categories:
- Knowledge Base → Categories → "Create Category"
- Assign a Name (e.g., "Frequently Asked Questions", "Getting Started", "Troubleshooting")
- Optional: Icon, Description, Parent Category for nesting
2. Write Articles
- Knowledge Base → Articles → "New Article"
- Select a Category
- Write the Content (Markdown is supported)
- Set the Status to "Published" when the article is ready
3. AI Indexing
Published articles are automatically indexed for the AI chatbot. The bot can then answer visitor questions based on your articles.
To trigger indexing manually: Knowledge Base → "Reindex"
