SilentChat supports DSGVO/GDPR compliance with data export, deletion and retention policies.
Exporting Data
Visitors → Visitor → "Export Data" — Exports all data of a visitor as JSON (profile, sessions, conversations, messages).
Deleting Data
Visitors → Visitor → "Delete Data" — Irrevocably deletes all data of a visitor (conversations, messages, sessions, pageviews, files).
Data Retention Policies
Under Settings → Privacy → Data Retention, configure how long data is retained:

After the expiration date, the data is automatically deleted by a cron job.
Cookie Consent
A cookie consent banner can be activated in the widget. Configure the text under Widget → "Cookie Consent Text".
Privacy Policy
Under Widget → "Privacy Policy URL", store a link to your privacy policy. The link is displayed in the widget.
