Guided links — the AI refers to the appropriate page
Enabled, the AI can reference pages in its responses — for example, your pricing page when someone asks about costs, or a settings page when someone asks where to find something.
Found under Settings → AI Bot. Enabled by default.
The Catalog
You maintain a list. Each entry consists of:
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Title | how the link is named in the response |
| Address | complete, starting with http or https |
| Keywords | what the AI recognizes to determine that this link is appropriate |
Limits: 100 entries per widget, 20 keywords per entry. Other protocols than http and https are rejected. An anchor at the end of the address is removed, a query part remains — in many interfaces, it is precisely this that distinguishes the pages from each other.
Why This Is Fail-Safe
A language model invents addresses that look plausible. It writes a help page that never existed, and the visitor lands on an error page — in the worst case, with someone who has meanwhile registered the address.
Therefore, SilentChat checks every answer before sending against a permission list. Only the following get through:
- Addresses from your catalog,
- Addresses that actually appear in the knowledge content used.
Everything else is removed from the answer. The visitor then sees an answer without a link — never a link into nowhere.
Recommendation
Start small: five to ten entries for the pages most frequently asked about. A catalog with a hundred entries is harder to maintain, and an outdated link is worse than none.
Choose the keywords from the perspective of your visitors, not your own: Someone searching for "invoice" rarely types "billing administration".
