Can I refer myself?

No. Self-referral (same tenant as referrer + referred) is strictly rejected. Even if someone from your team creates a new account with your code, the anti-abuse check will detect it (same email domain, same IP within 7 days) and marks the referral as under review until the admin decides.

Which plans are eligible for participation?

By default, trial accounts are excluded — as long as your account is still in the trial, you generate a code, but a referral only qualifies once you have a paid plan yourself. The exact list of excluded plans is shown at the top of the referral page.

Is there a limit?

Yes, three safeguards:

• Max. per month: Standard 10 qualified referrals per referrer.
• Lifetime cap: Standard 500 € total reward per referrer. After that, referrals remain on "Qualified" until an admin approves them.
• Per-referral threshold: unusually high individual rewards may require manual review (configured by the admin).

What is Clawback?

If your referred user cancels or requests a refund within 60 days of payment, the reward is automatically revoked — the Stripe credit is reversed. You will receive an email with the reason. After the clawback window expires, the reward is secure and cannot be revoked.

Coupon and trial extension rewards cannot be technically revoked — these referrals are only marked as canceled internally upon churn; what you have already used remains.

Taxes

The reward is a discount credit on your Stripe invoice — not a payout. It appears as a negative line item on the next invoice and reduces the tax base proportionally. No additional tax obligations arise on your side — Stripe handles the calculation automatically.

Multiple referrals at the same time

You can have an unlimited number of referrals running in parallel — each goes through the lifecycle independently. Referrals that have to wait due to the monthly limit remain on "Redeemed" and are processed the next month.

Reward changes after referral — what counts?

The reward at the time of qualification is frozen. If the admin later increases or decreases the reward, each already qualified referral retains the value that was valid at that time.

Program paused

If the program is temporarily paused, you will see a notice at the top of the page. Existing qualified referrals will still be paid out — new redemptions are blocked during this time.
