Additional modules (Add-Ons)
Administration → Add-Ons
Add-Ons are extensions that a customer books in addition to their plan — an additional agent seat, an AI package, SAML SSO.
Creating
The safest way is via Templates: A click fills in the name, slug, price, and description. Everything can be adjusted before saving.
The ten templates cover what is effective today: additional agent or lite seat, additional widget, AI conversation and copilot packages, KB crawler, SAML SSO, white-label, own subdomain, and premium support.
⚠️ The most important rule: the slug determines the effect
An add-on only shifts a plan limit if its slug matches one of the built-in effect entries. The slug is a free text field — a typo or a self-invented name results in an add-on that
- appears in the admin area,
- is sold and billed in Stripe,
- is listed as booked for the customer
— and still does not shift a single limit.
That's why the list shows for each add-on whether it has an effect and explicitly marks ineffective entries with „no effect". When creating, an additional warning appears in the log.
Anyone who creates an add-on should use the template. A freely typed slug is almost always a mistake — and one that the customer notices first.
Price and Unit
The price is billed per unit. For seat add-ons, the unit is the person, for packages the booking.
