Administration → Website scripts
Here you can insert your own script snippets into silentchat.de — typically analysis or consent tools.
Fields
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Name | Only for recognition in this list. |
| Position | head or end of the body. |
| Content | The snippet itself, including <script> tag. |
| Order | Determines the sequence in which multiple scripts are used. |
| Active | Off = nothing is inserted. |
Head or end of body?
In the head belongs what must run before the page content — consent management and everything that makes decisions for subsequent scripts.
To the end of the body belongs the rest. A script in the head delays page rendering; one at the end does not.
⚠️ What is entered here runs for every visitor
Three things you should know beforehand:
- No network secures this. A faulty snippet can make the page unusable. After every change, actually call up the website — not just save.
- Data protection. What sends data to third parties here belongs in the privacy policy and usually behind a consent.
- Only your own scripts. To use foreign code unread means to trust every visitor to the website that this code does not harm them.
The switch Active is the fastest way back — faster than deleting and without losing the content.
