Administration → Trigger Templates
Templates for Widget Triggers — the rules by which the chat window proactively contacts a visitor. Clients are offered them as template sidebar.
Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | What appears in the sidebar. |
| Slug | Derived from the name if empty. Unique per language, only letters, numbers and hyphens. |
| Category | Groups the selection — e.g. proactive, pages, returning, engagement. |
| Description | What the trigger does. |
| When to use | The sentence that takes the choice away from the client. |
| Order | Position in the list. |
The Difference to Workflow Templates
A Trigger takes effect in the widget for the visitor before a conversation begins: dwell time, page called, recurring visit.
A Workflow takes effect in the inbox after a conversation exists: assign, prioritize, auto-respond.
Both are maintained separately and must not be confused.
Language
The slug is unique per language — the same template can therefore have the same slug in German and English. Two German templates with the same slug are rejected.
