The image storage for blog and marketing pages. Allowed are JPEG, PNG, WebP and GIF up to 10 MB per file.

Upload

Via Upload or by dragging and dropping in the selection dialog. The dialog appears wherever an image is inserted — so you don't have to come here first.

Search

The search field accesses filename and alt text. If you set a descriptive alt text during upload, you will find the image later; if you don't, you search for IMG_4711.jpg.

Alt text and title

Via Edit metadata:

Alt text — displayed if the image does not load, and read by screen readers. Important for accessibility and search engines.
Title — internal designation.

The alt text describes what is visible ("Desk with laptop"), not what the image is supposed to mean.

⚠️ Deleting breaks existing references

A deleted image does not disappear from the posts that embed it — a dead reference remains there. The query when deleting states this explicitly. So check where the image is used before deleting.
